What is WordPress?
WordPress is an open-source software, also known as a content management system which is abbreviated to CMS.
It’s the most popular software tool for individuals and businesses for creating websites, as no coding is involved, you can build websites and blogs without knowing any fancy coding like CSS or HTML. Surprisingly the software doesn’t cost anything!
Anyone can install it, and anyone can use it. The reason people don’t always do it themselves is there is quite a steep learning curve, which can take months if not years to conquer. But if you get a website made for you, then tweaks and minor changes can be done by the website owner with minimal WordPress know-how.
That is what WordPress is.
